Specialist Displays : John Palmer

The Specialist Displays section celebrates the unique world of the passionate collector, preserving artefacts that would otherwise be lost and our past with them.  From animal traps dating from the 1700s to vintage horticultural machinery, dairy bygones to an amazing locally built 1892 steam popcorn maker!  You will often hear the cry “I used to have one of those!” from our time-served more venerable visitors while the younger ones just stand and stare thinking “ I cant believe it was ever done like that!”
