Buses & Coaches Section: John Hitchings

The popular Bus & Coach Section has featured up to 80 vintage vehicles, ranging from a 14 seat minibus right through to an ex Hong Kong double decker, whilst in pride of place there is a line-up of iconic Bedford OB coaches.  The 2019 show was particularly special as it marked the 80th anniversary of this iconic vehicle.  We are honoured that this milestone in their history was celebrated at our show with no less than 16 examples of this classic coach expected to attend.

John Hitchings, section leader said ‘due to popular demand, two open top vintage double-decker buses provide free passenger rides around the showground on all three days, subject to weather. In addition, a FREE bus link is provided to and from the show from Kemble Railway Station, to connect with selected First Great Western Trains.
