Buses & Coaches Section: Ashley Gardiner

This year, the popular Bus & Coach Section is showcasing the 150th anniversary of the formation of the Bristol Tramways & Carriage Company which built its own buses under the Bristol brand from 1906 to 1983. There will be a dedicated display of Bristol built buses and coaches together with the products of other manufacturers which will show the evolution of passenger carrying vehicles through the ages.

Section leader Ashley Gardiner said “The Bus & Coach Section is unique at the Extravaganza as not only can visitors see the exhibits, they also have the opportunity to ride on some of them on our popular FREE internal shuttle service”.

In addition, a FREE vintage bus service is provided to and from Kemble Station to connect with selected train services. There is also a FREE connecting vintage bus service to and from Cirencester.
