Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza has joined forces with local business RetroClassic™ Clothing. A special show T-shirt is now available! aside from showing your loyalty to the show, £5 from each one bought will be donated to one of S.V.T.E.C’s many worthwhile charitable causes.

RetroClassic™ Clothing prides themselves on high-quality apparel and good old-fashioned Customer Service. Designed by lifelong motoring enthusiast and business owner Adam Allen. Each is hand-printed to order at the company’s Wiltshire base on ethically produced 100% cotton t-shirts, and available in Heather Grey, Sand or White, priced at £15 including VAT. Each T -shirt comes in sizes XS to 4XL. They are not just t-shirts; they are an emotive slice of a bygone era.

Vintage Displays


Vintage displays of nearly 1000 classic cars from pre and post war, including Classic American cars, plus literally hundreds of motorbikes and scooters, bicycles from the early 1900s to the modern era, full size and miniature traction engines and steam rollers, stationary engines, model engineering, great displays of  buses and coaches (some of which you can ride on around the site!), military vehicles,  emergency and commercial vehicles, industrial trucks and vintage caravans. 

Live Arenas


Two live arenas with live commentary to non-stop parades and demonstrations.
The Alec Tanner Arena showcases classic vehicles from across the ages on two and four wheels.
The Steam Playpen does exactly what it says on the tin, steam engines at play showcasing a wide variety of steam power with accompanying commentary.

Vintage Fun Fair


All the fun of the fair including steam powered Gallopers, Electric Yachts, Big Wheel, Waltzer and traditional “Penny Arcade” side shows.  Ride on Chuffy The Train around the show.

Countryside and Animal Arenas


From ferret racing, rare breeds, shire horses and horse-logging to beehive-making – it’s all here among the rural displays and educational demonstrations. The popular dog show will make its return, with all money raised going to Teckels animal shelter – and with 2024 being the International Year of Camelids, ‘Camels through the Ages’ will be making its event debut. This entertaining show features fabulous costumes and informative commentary, to provide an insight into the long history of camel use and culture!

Trade Stands and Craft Tent


Massive Trade stand area with over 100 trade stalls, a craft Marquee, a model tent, and specialist displays of memorabilia from a bygone era.

Music and Dance


NEW FOR 2024: Swinging you back in time – Be sure to visit the new vintage entertainment tent, featuring live music, lindy hop dancing, vintage hair, and fashion through the eras. Why not dress up in your vintage finery and enter the ‘Best Dressed’ competition? Guest musicians include one of the premier Big Bands in the South West: The Midwest Big Band. This 18-piece Big Band has within its ranks some of the very best local talent – including professional conductor Bob Cutting (ex-Herb Miller band) – and will perform music from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and golden tracks from the legends of swing. There will also be music throughout the weekend in the beer tent and at the popular We’ll Meet Again Tea Room.

The timetable for live music and entertainment will be announced shortly.

Free rides on vintage open top buses (weather permitting) around the showground. Vintage buses operate connecting services to Cirencester and Kemble station
